Alpine nature in Tyrol

Holidays in the Tyrolean alps

If you venture out from Paznaun to the north over the mountains, you will reach Switzerland. If you follow the valley and the Silvretta Pass road, you will get to Voralberg. So as you can see, this is the furthest corner of Tyrol, right in the heart of the Alps.

The remoteness of this valley, which kept it secluded from mass tourism for a long time, has enabled the animals and wildlife to develop and evolve undisturbed over the last century. Ideal conditions therefore, for a relaxing holiday in the Alps. Ramblers and hobby-biologists will find flowers, grasses and species that they have probably searched for before, but never been able to find. Long walks with books on the subjects of flowers, grasses or mushrooms are therefore ideally suited to the summer time here.

The animals of the Alps also thrive here, and can be observed best in the early morning hours or at dusk. Equipped with a telescope or binoculars you will be able to find foxes, deer, marmots and other animals. High above the mountain tops you can see golden eagles and other birds of prey.

Make sure to enjoy the clear, clean mountain air that is a given in Tyrol’s valleys as well. At night the stars are particularly visible & breathtaking, due to the absence of light pollution from any cities nearby.

Getting back to nature in the mountains, offers you an original, down-to-earth holiday experience. Enjoy some time in See in Tyrol and send us an enquiry for your no-obligation quotation. You can also book accommodation online and get ready to set off on a summer holiday in the Tyrolean alps.
