Tour tip: off to the Ascher Hut in See
The bike trip to Ascher Hut is too good to be true. Ride over hill and dale, past idyllic forests and meadows at more than 2,256 metres above sea level. But be careful! This route has it all – inclines of up to 18 per cent and a shadow-covered ground are sure to challenge even active athletes. Do you prefer to take it easy? Take a cable car up to the Medrigalm. From there, you can take a panoramic route up to the hut. This journey saves you climbing 750 metres in altitude and eight kilometres in distance.
As a reward, a beautiful sun terrace with delicious delicacies from across the region awaits you at the Ascher Hut. Treat yourself to a little breather before biking back to See. Important information: the exit towards Schaller is closed.
