If you are planning a tour with your children a more leisurely trail without extreme inclines is probably the right choice for you. For biking experts, however, the challenging uphill and downhill trails may intrigue you. Available trails in See are divided into easy, moderate, and difficult levels:

  • Easy tours: Ideal for casual bikers, beginners and children who want a comfortable ride with stress-free, easy inclines.
  • Moderate tours: Would you like a ride that’s a bit more challenging? Moderate level tours require a bit more stamina and riding skill.
  • Difficult tours: For experienced mountain bikers who enjoy testing their limits. Includes uphill and downhill paths with high elevation gain.

Tour tip: off to the Ascher Hut in See

The bike trip to Ascher Hut is too good to be true. Ride over hill and dale, past idyllic forests and meadows at more than 2,256 metres above sea level. But be careful! This route has it all – inclines of up to 18 per cent and a shadow-covered ground are sure to challenge even active athletes. Do you prefer to take it easy? Take a cable car up to the Medrigalm. From there, you can take a panoramic route up to the hut. This journey saves you climbing 750 metres in altitude and eight kilometres in distance. 

As a reward, a beautiful sun terrace with delicious delicacies from across the region awaits you at the Ascher Hut.  Treat yourself to a little breather before biking back to See. Important information: the exit towards Schaller is closed.
