Kleinlitzner route – the details

The approach
Coming from Vermunt reservoir or Madlener Haus, follow the marked trail to Saarbrücker Hut. From there, take the path towards Tübinger Hut and turn right towards Kleinlitzner after 300 metres. Follow the marked rocks to get to the first secured points.

The via ferrata
Right at the entrance to the via ferrata, you will come across the first difficult passage, with the route starting at an almost vertical section with only few pegs. Further up, there are more challenging sections taking you across traverses and couloirs. Shortly before the summit, you will come across a short, exposed ridge.

The descent
Follow the same trail back to Saarbrücker Hut.
