The "Ascherhütte" at 2256m above sea level is probably one of the loveliest places in the entire Paznaun region. The recent renovations have however not been deleterious to the charm and the originality of the lodge. Ascherhütte is one of four lodges which are a part of the Culinary St. Jacob’s Way and in addition to offering a homely lodge atmosphere, also provides culinary flights of fancy. You get the feeling here that tradition is alive and well when a ‘Dirndl’-clad waitress serves some ‘Kaiserschmarrn’. The view to the Verwall group and the "Hohen Riffler" (3168m), which you can enjoy from up here, makes life seem quite straightforward.
Open from 3rd of July to 20th of September
