From easy to difficult – the network of hiking trails in See provides the perfect route for every hiker. To ensure that everyone safely reaches their destination, the trails are colour coded depending on their level of difficulty.

  • Easy hiking trails: The easy hiking trails are a maximum of 13 kilometres long with a 400 metre altitude change. The routes are very safe and stroller accessible. Steep inclines are rare. Any risk of falling is marked and the areas are secured accordingly. Additional equipment beyond good footwear and weather-proof clothing is not necessary. The easy trails are marked in blue and are particularly suited for families with children!
  • Moderate hiking trails: More advanced hikers will feel at home on the red-marked trails. These routes are a maximum of 25 kilometres long with a 1,300 metre altitude change. These trails are often steep and can include short passages that require climbing. These sections can be navigated without additional safety equipment.
  • Difficult hiking trails: These routes are amazing! The black-marked trails can be up to 30 kilometres long with a 1,300 metre altitude change. The trails are very narrow and steep. They are sometimes partially exposed and passages that require climbing are not uncommon. Do you want to try one of these difficult mountain paths? You should be aware of the dangers and have previous mountain climbing experience. Appropriate climbing equipment is an absolute must.
