3rd Conducting of the Oberland Tourencup in See

8 January 2020

3rd Conducting of the Oberland Tourencup in See
The 2nd stage of the OBERLAND TOURENCUP 2019 is taking place this year for the 3rd time already on Wednesday 8 January 2020 in See in Paznaun.

The start is at 19:00 at the Ahle in See 1,040 m, right by the cable car. The finish is the panorama restaurant of the cable cars See at 1,795 m.

Around 755 metres difference in altitude and 4.7 km are to be negotiated. All men and women with touring skis can participate.

There are 2 categories again, 1 x hobby category and 1 x racing category. Those who just want to make their way up at leisure to support the good cause, can register for the hobby category. New for this category is that participants make their way up without timekeeping. Bib numbers are indeed issued – but they are meant for taking part in the prize draw, for the starter kit and the included food.
Athletes who like to compete with others will feel more at home in the racing category. NEW for this year is that there are finally age groups, "General", "Master" and "Senior Master".
Also new is that there is now a team classification for clubs:  The club with the strongest representation will be awarded after each stage as part of the prize distribution. Here, both participants in the racing category as well as the hobby category will be counted together!
