Starting from a powerful Atlantic low, a somewhat more weather-active front system will spread over the Alpine region on Sunday. This means that dense cloud cover will dominate the sky throughout Sunday. The chance of precipitation will not be too high in the morning, but it will increase significantly in the late afternoon. Especially during the night from Sunday to Monday, heavier snowfall is expected above 2000 meters above sea level for some time. This will be accompanied by strong northwesterly winds. On Monday, however, the weather will calm down again significantly, with temperatures continuing to rise overall. Calm high-pressure weather will prevail from Tuesday to Thursday. This will be accompanied by a very mild air mass, with the frost line remaining above 3000 meters above sea level for a long time. Only a few high veil clouds will mark this widespread warming.
