Further family highlights in the Paznaun

Adventures in Kappl, Ischgl & Galtür

Just like See wows families with its Games, Sports and Water Park at the swimming lake and with Wellnesspark Medrigalm, the other villages of the Paznaun region offer just as many holiday highlights for families.

So why not take your kids on a trip to Galtür, Ischgl or Kappl? After all, you want to make the most of your summer in the Tyrolean mountains, don’t you?

Kappl

For families, Kappl is synonymous with Sunny Mountain Adventure Park. Simply take Diasbahn cable car up to 1,830 metres above sea level. At the top, there’ll be no stopping your little ones. Off they go from the playground’s slide tower to the petting zoo. From the Kneipp pools to the low-rope course. And from the Alpine museum to the Alpine herbs and stone garden and the disc-golf course.

The one-hour themed circular trail is full of highlights for guests of all ages.

Be(e) inspired: On the Paznaun’s educational bee trail, animal lovers can get close to endangered honeybees. Join a guided hike to find out interesting facts about the insects and the exquisite Paznaun mountain honey!

Kappl’s worth exploring – see for yourself and discover its varied family adventures!

Ischgl

If winter on Idalp is all about skiing, summer is all about hiking and exploring! Adventure-loving families can explore the Adventure Trail from Ischgl to Idalp. The 7.5-kilometre trail is full of surprises. Are you brave enough to cross the two spectacular suspension bridges?

Alternatively, you can also take the cable car up to 2,320 metres above sea level, where Vider Truja Adventure Park is waiting for you and your kids with its adventure playground, water park, boulder towers, barbecue stations and more. Plus, the Walk of Lyrics on Idalp is not just a highlight for fans of international music.

High above Kitzloch gorge, action lovers can try the SKYFLY zipline. If you’re more “down to earth”, you might want to stick to the highlights down in the valley, for instance Sandli water playground or the spacious forest pool. There are also plenty of bad-weather alternatives in Ischgl.

Galtür

There’s more than one “high”light at Silvapark Galtür – quite literally. There are six different sectors at the climbing and bouldering hotspot, among them a special children’s boulder park. Climbing fans aged eight and above can also explore Little Ballun via ferrata.

You prefer family-friendly hikes? Jackpot! The panoramic trail in Galtür is suitable for prams and boasts breathtaking views. Talking about great views: You can also get those from the back of a horse. The local riding schools are popular with horse lovers of all ages – even if it’s just for relaxed horse-drawn carriage ride.

Raindrops keep falling on my head … When it’s raining, it’s time for some indoor action – for instance at the Sports and Culture Centre of Galtür with its indoor adventure pool!
